Growing Pains Listen to me, Darling; let a smile replace that frown. I will lengthen all your shirt sleeves, I will let your pant legs down. You complain you feel so awkward and you don't know what to do with arms that are all elbows and are sprouting out from you. I have something here to show you in my winter garden room. Have you ever seen such beauty as this amaryllis bloom? It was nothing much to look at just a month or so ago, until I gave it light and water and it started in to grow. I could see it add the inches every day before my eyes and it gave no indication of its wonderful surprise. If I hadn't known the end result I might have thrown it out in those weeks when it was only a fast growng, lengthy sprout. You are going through a growth spurt that will only last a while. The charming woman you're unveiling will bring back your lovely smile. Just know that as you're changing and evolving hour by hour you are growing into beauty like my amaryllis flower. Dear dear Joyce, Your love flows through this piece.. I feel so much comforted of my growing pains. Though that must have been a long time ago it feels very much like it happened yesterday ![]() Love, MiCheLLe If there cannot be equal in affection, then let the one with more be me - midnightblues |

Awww! I like this so much, Joyce, to see perfection unfolding it's blossom. So much focus is put on outward appearance these days, but each tender petal is there inside, and when it unfolds, so much more than the eye is dazzled...the heart is dazzled as well. And the amaryllis is a stunning example of blossoming in the care sustenance and light. ![]() Karen |
