Liddy the kitty was dressed for success.
Her white pinafore was clean and well pressed.
Her closet boasted an array of bright frocks
With coordinated purses, shoes and knee socks.
Liddy wasn’t concerned much with style
But she dazzled ‘em all with an elegant smile.
She was gracious, charming and cordial, you see.
She was often a guest at a dinner or tea.
People thought she was outdated at best,
But she was exciting, and they all confessed
They had never seen, going door to door.
A sales-kitty in a white pinafore.
And a lot of customers had to consider
That the product she sold was kitty litter.
Liddy the kitty is all about fiction
As are her customers; that’s the restriction.
