When the light fades, The darkness descends. My thoughts take over, And "reality" ends. Time and time again, My thoughts will run. Always in vicious cycles, My submission they have won. So I settle down With pen and pad. To write away, All my problems, And forget all my pain. Just forget it... I've tried to break free, Of this never-ending depression. But it's like a disease, I'm the center of it's obsession. This thing buried deep inside, A secret I've kept locked away. With every minute and every breathe, It grows stronger everyday...
