i met you today,
but you were already taken,
my mind some how guessed,
but my heart was still breaking,

hearing your voice,
makes me tremble inside,
all i want to do,
is run away and hide,

i hear the smile in your voice,
with the song you portray,
you sang better than me,
you kept me thinking well into the day,

time again i tell myself,
i'd always like a guy with a voice,
whether or not you like me the same,
it's your choice.

A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your
heart.

I'm not sure I understand the meaning of the poem. It' really good, and well written but to me it's a bit confusing. Sorry. Perhaps you could explain.

I really loved these two lines of the poem. Definately my favorite.

well yea it is confusing when you don't know whats going on... it's about this guy i like that i met at this shuswap idol singing thing i was in which he also was singing in... and i kinda fell for him and he has the most amazing voice i have ever heard... so yea but i thought he already had a gfd but i got my friend to ask the girl he was with when he left and she said they were just friends

haha but yea what a life:P

I really like this one, I do agee that it's somewhat confusing the first time you read it, but after I read it again I got what you meant. I cant think of anything I would change to make it better, it's really good.
