I see you standing there,
Your hands interlocked
Your eyes always on each other
His hands always touching you,
Your hands always touching back.

Watching him stand there, his arms wrapped around you,
I just want to scream, "How could you do this to me?!"

By now your probably thinking I am talking about an ex,
Maybe even a boyfriend who has been caught in the act,
But no no no, it’s not what it seems.

You see, those two standing there, holding hands right in front of me,
They are supposed to be my best friends.
But that’s not what I see.
Would you call them my friends?
Well, I guess that all depends.
So tell me, in your life, have you ever seen such a sight?
Where your best friends could do this and think it’s all right?
