I want someone to call me on my societal lies But instead they all look their other ways All of them playing the silly game “avert the eyes” It gets so old I wish for an intrepid phase I wonder on some occasions that sometimes come If we’re all just living in a vast white lied discreetly Not saying things is becoming incoherently won Faking realities everyone knows exist simultaneously Aren’t we fake; we’re so unreal, asking for it every day A forged reality of glassy stares and robot answers We have become a machine oppression of a similitude way Coming up with psychotically reoccurring cures I realize that there is no knight to rescue me from phony town Wide smiles plastered on veiled faces, but eyes speak true They all want a paper cut reality- living in on unstable ground While all I can do is sit back and watch the bold- the few Love is never foolish- and if it is, it is a Divine Foolishness. -Sir Gawain [This message has been edited by whitelielovely (02-13-2007 04:44 PM).] |

Aren’t we fake; we’re so unreal, asking for it every day A forged reality of glassy stares and robot answers We have become a machine oppression of a similitude way Coming up with psychotically reoccurring cures~ Wow I really liked this one, but this stanza has got to be my favorite. How true, how very true.... hunnie ~fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me~ |
