It’s raining, so I stare out the window, waiting wanting to be out there Drip, drip, drop, little rain drops falling through my unlaced fingers Hair falling free in my face and people gape out their windows at me My actions of a five year old escaped their mother don’t escape them Running with my mouth open dancing with my rain kissed skit fluttering My eyes closed to evade the falling drops coming towards my lashes My bare feet skip into puddles that build up all around me- shoving all water out Nothing takes away this feeling of freedom I feel as I do what I wish Rain floods my senses whipping around my self in a silent liquid beauty Silently, luminously the sun shows its flawless face, as its rays hit my flesh Suddenly I’m a child again, floating on nothing but imagination and hope Held in a moment of extreme beauty unsoiled by the world of tainted men "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it |
