Trying to tell you things of myself,
I have died one thousand deaths
I never got near to saying these,
And stopped counting the times you left

I cry at night, I thought you should know,
I wish the things of this hurt would leave
You tell of all these things that are broken
Over you and those, and for myself- I grieve

The moon is as changing as my life,
As changing as the feelings you wear
All are present upon your hidden face,
You must only look to find them there

You finally see what I have been to you,
I almost thought you never would find out
I guess I was wrong, and glad to be so
You now know what you have been without
