Friends between the distance

The long strech of road between us
Is miles from okay
but we do have to keep going
Knowing we'll see each other someday

I miss you so much
Those words don't even express how i feel
I need something stronger the words
to tell you what is real

We were always togeather
Side by side thats how we stay
you had my back and I had yours
No matter the problems that came our way

The distance between our hearts
Is not as far as we make
because at night I see you there
and your hand I do take

Then the sun rises
and my eyes open so slow
I realize it was all a dream
and I have to let you go

The phone calls make it better
but Not as good as I wish it to be
If it is the only thing we have
Then lets make it you and me

i loved this poem it thought it was great
this was my favorite part
