I used to believe in Fairy Tales Many years ago I thought I’d have my own story But the world would never know See happy ending don’t exist They’re simply too clichéd Misery and woe live on The curse never goes away You’re high in your tower- now splitting ends Wondering what ever went wrong Because the prince isn’t on his way (He says he can only save blondes) A fairy godmother won’t come down Slaves don’t go to the ball And when the clock strikes midnight Nothing changes at all You’ll never tam the beast And roses always die in the end The rich one might be a jerk But at least he’s got a Benz Lie there waiting for Prince Charming To wake you with true love Honey, his kiss wouldn’t do a thing All you’d find is major lust So stupid, I fell for the poisoned apple Now I’m lying here, practically dead But no one’s gonna save me The prince has too big a head Yeah, I used to believe in fairy tales Many years ago But life told another story One I wish I didn’t know |

I LOVE LOVE LOVED this. This was extremely creative, i love it. It's so sad how true it is...but you put it into words so well. My favorite part(and it made me laugh) You’re high in your tower- now splitting ends Wondering what ever went wrong Because the prince isn’t on his way (He says he can only save blondes) into my library. :-) AIM-beatufu1tragidy |

Woah, I really liked this one by you! One of the best I've read so far! I would just simply suggest for you to go back and fix some of your spelling/grammar errors. Once again, very nice! ~Alli~ |

Hey, Good luck in the contest! I hope that this one wins, its deff my favorite by you so far... I have to agree with Alli, on the spelling and grammar it's a rather annoying stumbling block when you read the poem and have to sort through the errors, no offence. I loved the part about blondes also, I think it’s probably your best stanza in this poem, cute, funny, and it has great flow to it… Thanks for sharing "I pray thee, O God, that I |
