There was a time when the doors were all closed, When my hands were all shattered by the winds of fate. I stood by the wall and waited for their passing; I relinquish restraint, stopped writing of child things, They were over in me; I was a man at fourteen. An eye for a peer, a heart for a love; I was wasted. My hands were for sensual touching, for proof; I had a fire for a soul; heated towards passions, The fruitions of it all. And as days where longer, stretched thin, layered, They began to make volumes, each second a chapter, Each day a volume, each year a book, each lifetime a masterpiece. And death was the burning of the words, finite, and mortal. I am the two-toed wanderer |

Wow, what an amazing poem! IDK what to say about it except that it was very well written. Looks liek you put alot of effort into it and your vocab use is impressive. Nice! I look forward to reading more of your work! |
