Restless and wanting to tear away
Thoughts haunting my heart, afraid
So near the end of these tired days
Waiting with glee for the trip to be made

This is what I always wanted,
So what is it I fear?
The change is best, unwanted
I realize that with you now here

I wish I would have known before
I was blinded by love and lust
Now I don’t want to be yours
I’ll let our love sift to dust

I apologize for being confused
And leaving you like this
Surely now you feel used
Please don’t take time to reminisce

Good-bye my prince.
