Together Forever

Falling rain

The summer rains will fall
And the leaves will fade away.
And snow will find its place
But me and you will always stay.

This bond between us
has learned to grow.
But deep inside me
I always know

That the hugs you gave me
weren't just for comfort
And that holding hands
Only helped me through pain of all sorts.

You helped me when my bitter tears
Fell to the cold earthy ground
You had faith in me
when I had none to be found.

You'll always be a friend to me
And you've proven that with honesty.
This feeling seems to good
to ever become reality.

Deep within me I feel a warmth
that no other has ever shown to me
You unchained me from my shackles
And let me be free.

Thank you my friend
You mean the world to me and more.
Now I'll spread my wings once again
And learn how to sore.
