I’ve had a bad day again
Spilled my coffee broke my shoe
Slammed the door and walked away
Stopped crying over you

You're supposed to be my little brother
Never thought I’d see the day
That I’d turn around and leave
And you’d watch me walk away

God it wasn’t easy
But it had to be done
You see daddy wasn’t man enough
To give up on his son

I wish it didn’t end this way
Infact there’s nothing I’d rather do
Than scream out from the rooftops
That I was wrong about you

You and I know your not changing
After all it’s just too hard
The broken picture says it all
The blood splatter in my yard

Mum’s inside crying
Dad’s drinking away his tears
We all knew this was coming
It’s been building up for years

Your girlfriend and I were talking
But you’d been missing for a while
We thought you’d be getting wasted
After all that was your style

We found you in the guest room
This girl ontop of you
You were both naked
I turned but snapped a shoe

But the face it was familiar
Oh god it couldn’t be
My best friend right on top of you
What’s happening to me?

I slammed the door and ran out
Headed up the hall
You ran out to catch me
But I didn’t hear you call

You grabbed me by the shoulders
And punched me between the eyes
Pushed me too the ground
Ignored my plaintive cries

What about my baby
Oh god please be alright
You hovered over top of me
Screaming “Get up and fight”

I’m sorry but I’m walking
I’m done with all your pain
The life that you keep living
Is driving me insane

I thought you’d changed
But that’s not even true
I couldn’t feel my baby

They took me to the hospital
But they said it was fine
My baby’s doing well
But you really crossed the line
