I once looked into your eyes
And saw how everything should be.
I once saw you smile,
Those shining white teeth
As you looked straight at me.
Everything,
Perfect,
Not a single disbelief.
I once heard you laugh,
Like you never laughed before.
Not having wants,
Cause we never needed more.
This is how it should have stayed,
Forever,
Only this way.
Our way,
And to never,
Need change.
I once saw you,
Who you once were,
Who you should be,
Right now.
Who I need,
Who I want,
But it's not,
Cause it's not you.
I once hated change,
Fighting it with my life,
Now change,
Is all I want.

"Life is too confusing, but I like it that way!"
