Do you know what it’s like to live with fear?
To struggle for acceptance
but only find condemnation instead?
Do you know what it’s like to hear words like
“you’re useless,” “you’re not worth loving,” “you’re a disgrace?”
Do you know what it’s like
to feel as though every breath you breathe is a waste of oxygen?
But when you try to think of suicide,
you feel that you’re too pathetic to even kill yourself?
Do you know what it’s like to reach for something
but grasp empty air instead?
These are the things we think of;
the ones who have been abused.
But every child has an angel protecting them,
whether they are in another country or right next door.
Abuse scars people for life, young or old.
Everyone has an angel watching out for them.
I know I do.

So cut me into pieces and tape me into something beautiful...

your not pathetic at all! ur an amazing very pretty girl.... angels will do all they can to stop the people that hurt you... just remember im here for you! ur worth everything! and no one can shut you down!
