Sing With Me On the wings of your precociousness I pretend that I can fly I almost must assume it true For the mountain spires 'neath me and you I trust that time has changed us both And that will never end Meeting at the second sigh You gave me reason again to try I can't believe that I allow Your face to haunt me still Yet I know you my friend I'll want your face until the end The complications that we shared That once made us strong Now a lonely test of will Bitter wine will never fill We hoped that love could save us But hopes are oft in vain Though perhaps we were not wrong And need only sing another song Logic is Imaginary |
