I never thought I'd end it
quite the way i did last night
I just thought it was better
if for once we didn'r fight

we both cried for a while
but things turned out ok
we made promise after promise
that our love would not go away

we're just taking a break
til you get your life on track
thats when we'll get together
and maybe get back.

we vowed we'd still be friends
while we are on this break
but pretending that i'm happy
might be more than I can take

cos the truth is I still love you
and I cant wait until you see
thats its not only you this is affecting
its also hurting me!

wow that really hits home plate with me. my best friend of five yrs and i just broke up. we said our love would last and though we aren't together it seems to be lingering.

when did you get this good. really. Although i didn't agree with sentiment the language was perfect. Very good rhyme. simple style suited the piece all in all wow.

hmm honestly, im sorry but it might hurt waaay worse if you guys got back together and then broke up... if you were meant to be you wouldnt brreak up in the first place.. and those reasons and feeling of the first break up never do go away so... idk taking from my personal expirince.... but anyway good poem! but hmm the end seems a little off... like its not the end you know? (last line)

Thanx Hunnie Girl for the appreciation that you've made from my poem entitled "CRY".. Actually, i made this poem because our teacher in Literature 2 assigned us to make one. She asked us to make a Sad Poem.. And this one was chosen to be one of the best poem in the class.. Hehe.. But I'm not sad and broken-hearted.. It's just because of the subject.. And i thank my teacher for the opportunity she had given to me for it enhanced my skill in making such poem.. And of course, thanks also to you for reading my poem..
