I just stand there as the hard, wet pellets sting my naked skin.
It is like the pain makes everything else go away.
I sit down in the shower and just let the waterfall of sins, broken hearts, and test grades pour down my face and down my torso; right down to the tiles beneath me.
I do not step out of the steamy prison until I am not visible in the mirrors in the room.
I do not want to see my sins.
Reality-
stay away

I am waiting for this storm to be over with so that the magnificant beauty of a rainbow will penetrate my soul!
"Lord, give me the strength to come back to you.

Well i dont know if this exactly makes sense to you, the audience but it is personal to me so it makes sense. tell me what you think about it please
and let me know what I can do to make it better

it doesn't always have to be clear to the reader, most poetry is personal...it's the emotions that the reader relates to (or not).

I understood this very well and thought it was good.

I liked it. Especially the imagery I could picture it so well.

mmmm i like this alot.
i can definitely relate.
and bringing God into it- i respect that! i love hearing other teens poems that bring the christian aspect into it.

Anyways, i really like this- thanks for sharing!
