How is it that you find a way,
to capture my heart every time,
I fight with everything I have,
I tell myself I'll never cross that line.

I look at you and I'm lost inside,
my mind doesn't know what emotoins to feel,
I'm tired of fooling myself
I don't want to misread what isn't real.

But your smile tells me that I'm ok
and I'm sure that you're all I need,
You somehow warp my mind into believing
every single way that you lead.

Your words and your songs carry me,
and they help me through the day.
Even when you're not around
You're with me in every way.

I write such broken rhymes when you
cause me to fall from a shattered heart,
I always vow to myself that I'll never
let you see me in the times I fall apart.

I realize too late that I already fell,
and somehow I'm back here again,
How is it that I fall for the one person,
who I know I will never win?

So how did I end up here again,
when it's happended so many times?
Why is it that my own heart always
follows someone who's not even mine?

Wow... So beautiful yet so sad! This stanza, this whole poem, really gets the emotions across to the reader. I loved this poem, it's one of my favorites of yours.

Ya i definitally agree that you have talent...and this is an amazing poem. I can relate to it and i loved reading it...cant wait to read another of your poems.
