There's an easy lie
slipping through my breath,
weaving a comforting blanket
around my ears and yours.
Be thankful
and less than cautious
or cautious and
less
than thankful.
What's the difference really
when we cover our nakedness with
lies.

Hey Young_Blood, it's been a while, hasn't it? How've you been? Anyways, let's get down to business.

The "messages" that I got out of reading this was that: 1. Be cautious what you wish for and 2. People are all the same. But that's just my opinion.

It was cool reading one of your poems again. They always drive me nuts, but I get a kind of thrill out of reading them. Sorry for this messy ramble/rant. I blame midnight madness.

Brilliant, Absolutly Brilliant!!!
I suppose we are somtimes thankful for lies. Ignorence is bliss and all that but I'd prefer if we all showed the truth.
