Soothing key strokes of my heart’s desire Background music playing sweet notes And I sit mesmerized by the beauty of your words Whispering secrets with my soul So many deep secrets that no one would know A distant smile is known and enjoyed Time spent somehow fills a past void I wonder a path of curiosity And the world spins still at its velocity A spec in the universe I travel too An adventure greater than my life And I contently explore something new Rhythm key strokes from a burning desire Now lullaby rocking me getting me ready to retire But I prolong one last glimpse of the beauty of your words. |

I like how you put feeling into your poems. This one made me think of past experiences. Very well written. "I love you not because of who you are, but rather because of who I am around you." |

Wisdomofthesword-I am glad my poem gave you a visual in your head, thank you Silent speaker-yes I usually write with my feelings that escape through my finger tips or sometimes I just make up feelings to get me in the mood I want to set at that time..lol if that made any sense..but thank you for reading.
