Strangers in the night

Soothing key strokes of my heart’s desire
Background music playing sweet notes
And I sit mesmerized by the beauty of your words

Whispering secrets with my soul
So many deep secrets that no one would know

A distant smile is known and enjoyed
Time spent somehow fills a past void
I wonder a path of curiosity
And the world spins still at its velocity

A spec in the universe I travel too
An adventure greater than my life
And I contently explore something new

Rhythm key strokes from a burning desire
Now lullaby rocking me getting me ready to retire
But I prolong one last glimpse of the beauty of your words.

very good you deserve claps to "clap clap clap" I could actually picture this poem in my head (if that made sense) ne way realy good poem

I like how you put feeling into your poems. This one made me think of past experiences. Very well written.

Silent speaker-yes I usually write with my feelings that escape through my finger tips or sometimes I just make up feelings to get me in the mood I want to set at that time..lol if that made any sense..but thank you for reading.
