wait just one second
as i slowly get a grip
the solid reality i knew
just seems to slip

which way is up
in this stormcloud of pain
which ways the right way out
to stay warm from the rain

will you give me shelter
i ask here in the cold
im alone in this cruel world
and i need a hand to hold

please dont just sit there
as i scream and beg for help
have your fun and laugh at me
im just another notch in your belt

i sing this song
because maybe it will help you along
in this road of life
