Adieu Darkness echos on every floor, I know that I've been here before, Before I knew you were real, Before I knew my heart could feel, I knew that you were out there, somewhere, And I knew that someday you'd care. You'd see my happy smiling face, And set my heart at a faster pace, To make me feel like I exist, Making sure I couldn't resist, Your carfully selected words, Made my heart sing like birds. Now you've opened up a hole, Which I had thought someone stole, Hidden in a web of pain, Forever it was supposed to remain, Never seeing the light of day, Making my happy existance fray. Can your love truely be real? For I don't know if i can feel, You're too good to be true, Even though there's nothing to prove, You care for me too much it seems, As if you've leapt out from my dreams. Leaping out from my soul, And this must be what you have stole, Because I cannot see more, That what was infront of me before, Like you're shrouded in a mystery, And inconspicuality. But I will know if your love is true, I'll be counting the days 'til we say "Adieu". I am a broken toy, |
