I'll make it through just fine, I'll live my life and carry on, I've learned to never cross that line. I'll learn to let go of you, Move on a little more each day, and even though my heart is torn, I'll just leave the pieces where they lay. I'll just always be your best friend, but I know that is something I can do, i'll ignore all the twists in my stomach, it's better than not having you. your eyes will still be my stars, you'll still guide me through the night, your smile will still be my saving grace, your face will still be my light. Your words will still be my comfort, your heart still be my home, your happiness will be my assurance even if that means being alone. I'll be just fine, make it thorugh the day, and I'll experience something new. I'll always love you, just like I always have, but I have to be ok without you. -Erin AIM-beatufu1tragidy Tell me what you think about being open, about being honest with yourself. |

I cant beleive i almost missed this poem, and I cant beleive more people havent reasponded to it. I have to say this was my favourite stanza: "I'll learn to let go of you, Move on a little more each day, and even though my heart is torn, I'll just leave the pieces where they lay." Iloved this poem, it had great low and rhyme. Hope to see more! Great write! "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." |
