the meet was away
and i was okay
as i stepped onto the board

as i went up and started my snap
i knew something was wrong and tryed to hold back
i started to turn a little too slow
then i hit the water and fell down below

my lip was deranged, and drowned just about
i was trying to breath, as blood poured out

i went to the official
and asked to dive
then when he said no
i said "then let me die"

so i went to the hospital
with coach at my side
i didnt say it out loud
but i knew deep inside

so i said

coach im sorry
i let you down
you should be with the team
but your not to be found

he said

shut up bryan
dont appolagize
youve worked your a@# off
just so you could dive

you will dive Bremen
and youll do just fine
because meets are just practices
for whats further down the line
