We die together holding pillows, suffocating in the calm of sleep, Our souls released from still frame insanity, pure form heartache and wishes for breathtaking views and carefree afternoons, just basking in simple bliss - happy to be home. We die together as dreams get worse, these wasted souls spin voices round wrapped in good intentions. We'll sing for solace forever, Oh, how our souls did suffer, knowing nothing of truth, disguising knowledge as a portrait of you. How simply we lose the last of all thoughts, the worst of all lapses, the least of all judgments for the selfishly harvested hatred of that which was loved most by you. |
