When one heart stops beating Another heart break Life is measured by the breathless moments And not how many breaths you take But how can that be true If you never learn to breathe? How can you learn to appreciate? If you never learn to see? How can you be humble If you never hear of pride? How can you make a difference If you crossed to the other side? How can you be happy If you never get to smile? How can you enjoy your youth If you never are a child? How can you be generous If you never learn to give? How can you be loved If you never get to live? How can you know the truth about God If you never learn the lies? How can you ever know what existence is If all you ever did was die? How can a mother go on When her flesh and blood is dead? How can she ever give birth again If the first time she never did? How can we ever end this terrible treachery The lives deep within our hearts? Making better decisions Would only be a small start Jesus can comfort our pain Over and over each time Not to mention Forgive us of this horrible crime Although these girls have murdered And although they may have lied God will still forgive them Even though it’s their fault a child has died But this child is in heaven now Peacefully, so happy Laughing away the moments With their loving Daddy Because of their parents mistake These children were not allowed to be But now they’re in a better place That’s where they’ll remain for eternity But what about the future? Will the population slowly fade? Maybe one day this generation will realize That our days are precious and life ain't a game A wise boy once said “In God we trust but our nation’s going insane” I can see the truth in that Since we’re causing so much pain People wanna hide the broken hearts By putting on happy faces But inside our mortal souls Are just falling away to pieces Can we really be that stupid To continue in something that hurts everyone? Our only hope is that God will one day Undo the things that we’ve done In God we trust But we’re killing our children But how could they have known better If they never heard the truth about abortion? |

oh, wow, the title really popped out at me. I am the mother of two young children, and i cant even stand the thought of having an abortion. its awful, but sometymes you dont always have a choice in the matter( a terminally ill fetus, pregnancy itself could kill the mother, or even an act of incest, i personally believe that those are logical reasons to terminate a pregnancy.) keep writing, i loved this... really emotional. Tamma Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants? |
