What would life be like if love were simple? If i didn't have to think about him every waking second and wonder if I'm enough for him. My mind's a blank canvas, compared to the masterpiece he has painted. Intimidation has changed my wanting for complexity. I'm great at hiding myself, but he's the one that keeps pulling my thread, revealing more and more. Shot down into the ground, I have reached the surface again. Last I felt this much need, he was torn, Tearing me up with him. Stitching my wounds up with a new thread, There'll soon be another That pulls my pieces apart. I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky, but why can't it be mine? |
