The Eternal Line

There’s a line in the future
One I’ve written in the past
It’s silver in color, and soft to the touch
It’s hidden away in a wonderland
One secreted in the reflection of ice

It’s a thread of time
And a line of song
It’s more than it seems
And less than you think
It’s a soul unto its self, a reflecting dream

It’s a line that pulls at the heart
One that rings through space and time
Never ending, always beginning
The center of my universe
The love you show me

It’s the care that your actions inflict
And a play on my heart strings
A wonder that I have, but I know not
The start of everything I love
The end of all I detest

I love the strings of fate
That brought you here
The ones in my stories lives
The one that lives in me
The love, which you show me
