i dont know if i will ever understand
the relationship that we had
everything was so perfect in my mind
i had no idea
that love could make me so blind

i dont understand
how you knew where it was going
and didnt care to share
in my heart you led me on
and i dont feel it was fair

you rarely shared your feelings for me
when ive told you from the start
every inch of every feeling
that came from the depths of my heart

and you blame me for being the hurtful one
that i will never understand
you were the one to back away
when i gave you my love
when i gave you my trust
when i gave you my hand

my intentions were always the best
i would have done anything
if i knew it would help you
i would have done anything
to help you through

so in the end maybe it was you
who was blinded by love

{in a million years i wont be over you}
