Some windows wish more to trifling thought

through overly simplistic takes of futures

found needing these star struck crutches

carrying troubled minds from battle grounds

moving quickly through lives and dreams

of children waiting for the only chance

to dream a want or to want a dream.

Those stars will cry countless nights

until the day we die.
