What did you expect to find
When you came running back to me?
Did you think that I’d be waiting there,
Just waiting for you to be waiting for me?
You call me out of the blue
Tell me you’re still in love.
What did you think would happen now,
You’d come right back in, we’d still fit like a glove?

Did you really expect me to stay here
And just wait for you to come back?
Did you think that I’d be a good little girl
And take you at your word, just like that?
Did you think that after seven long months,
I wouldn’t have grown up some?
Did you think that not talking to me
Would prevent me from moving on?

Well I’ve got news for your little delusion,
The you’re so obviously in.
Despite all that you did to me,
I’m finally happy again.
You’re the only person who can make me feel bad,
But I won’t apologize for having him.
Because as much as I don’t want to hurt you,
He’s the best thing I ever did.

Don’t get the wrong impression,
I really don’t want to see you in pain.
I hope that you find an incredible girl,
Who’ll keep you in line just the same.
But until then, can we pretend
That it’s like it was before?
Because the painful, but true, fact is
I don’t love you anymore.

You know what, I may not be his last, and I'm certainly not his first. But right now, in this snippet of time, I'm his, and that's enough.

that was awesome~

very sh 'rude i must say.

i like that it had a strong meaning to it, and how you twisted my mind during it and brought me right back it.. it gave me a sense of feeling of what the relationship was like,
