The Walk of the Pink Elephants Somewhere in the back woods of the Hopeful Hills there was a road that was paved with silver and gold surrounded by trees full of diamonds. At the end of this road was a Camelot Castle wherein dwelled a King who promised to save the World from the tragedy of a financial disaster. Even the mad dogs and the cool cats hoped that his words were sincere and true so that those in his Kingdom could live happily ever after. Today it doesn't seem so but it wasn't that long ago that everything in the Kingdom seemed to be peachy. That was until it was revealed that some sneaky rats had been stealing gold from the road and secretly replacing that gold with fools gold. And what of the trees, those precious diamond trees, surely they were of some great value, until it was discovered that the sneaky rats with the help of some giraffes were helping themselves to the diamond trees and replacing the diamonds with cubic zarconia's and dead bumble bee's. Kind of reminds me of Wall Street... JamesLee 14February 2009 |

James, now if only you were the king of Camelot! The streets would be paved with 24 karat gold ~ and no fools allowed! Linda |

Good poetic political summary James. Time is needed for change but it might be gone too far this time. Eric |

It appears that you and I know what is going on, James. Ida |
