Snowflakes drift down softly Chilling lips and lashes slowly Then melting and wets simply So my face is not full of crying And there is no use in drying For the snow defies my trying I’m chilled to the heart. With wet shoes I walk the day, Random, aimless, and anyway, For the snow hasn’t come to stay. The air is froze, not the ground, Flakes disappear without a sound Looking for gathering can’t be found; I’m chilled to the heart. Gloom |

I love the melancholic use you make of snowflakes, though you already know that in my case snowflakes cheer me up. Beautiful write! Sending you a warm hug. Love, Margherita |
