I believe that you are too busy to rest; when I close my eyes, I see you planting Marigolds on the moon. You sprinkle Starflower seeds among the clouds and whisper poetry to ease petals open. You are in my mind’s eye as you tend sky gardens that blossom endlessly. I know that you are too busy to rest; the sun needs to be shaped and painted and the moon, oh the moon so lovely, will shine brighter mirrored with silver bells. You made Earth a more beautiful planet; now you work marvelous Marge-magic in the sky. You are too busy to rest. - Alison [This message has been edited by Alison (02-11-2009 01:16 AM).] |

Marge-magic. Couldn't think of a better description when I think of her work. Although I believe in Psalms 37: 29 I appreciate your thinking in this area. Wonderful tribute to Marge but also a wonderful tribute to God's majesty and glorious creations. Take care Eric |

Awwww Alison, this is an absolutely beautiful poem about Marge. You know, I was thinking the same thing about Marge, today, before I even read your poem. Great minds think alike, huh? |

Thank you all. While I didn't "know" Marge well, she impacted me a lot. One of the things that she did for me was when she saw me going through the lessons in the Workshop, she got a teacher in there. I am in her debt for that single kindness, but I grew to love her poetry and beauty. I have tried to write poetry in shapes and it is difficult, but Marge made it all look effortless. I think that is one thing that I grew to respect and admire. She was a real lion when that other poetry site stole poems from here and posted them in there site. She worked to remove all of our poetry from that site. I sat back in awe of her determination. Marge, I do see you gardening in our sky and you continue to make my world more beautiful. My thanks go to her and to all of you. Alison |
