The burn of the air and a warmth in my heart Brings trembling thoughts on this day to restart A new life, a new path and so much will change. My reasons for living will soon rearrange So nervous and timid as friends gathers near A melody roars, but I cannot hear There is no sound. No world at all. I stand alone silent and time starts to crawl. So many years waiting. It all comes to this. Love marches toward me - a glowing white bliss. No words can describe it. Her beauty explodes, Strangling my eyes as emotion unloads. Each step she moves closer, my mind starts to race This moment. These people. This heavenly place. So much to process, so much to take in. A life-changing moment is set to begin. She reaches me finally. This angel of mine. Our arms interlock and our hearts intertwine. We stand together — together at last Joined for the future in front of our past. I look at her. She stares back at me A million sights flashing but she’s all I see. My dream has come true and all that waits now Is one beautiful promise. A permanent vow... “I do. I do.” Forever, “I do.” "I'll always be there. I'll always love you." Always. A beautiful poem for two souls intertwined for eternity. ![]() Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |
