I don’t know where the days went
The ones passing by
Summer is coming close
Soon the heat will beat down
Ill see you walk in the cool summer breeze
Surrounded by the coolness of the trees
Ill sit and listen to you hum this brand new melody
While I hold your hand tight
Letting the sun leave
The moon is hanging in the new sky
The stars sparkle in your eyes
The three words I heard you say
Made my heart see a new girl that’s been in my head
I was hoping it would turn out this way
I know what its like to hold you close
And what it’s like to see you from afar
You caught me before I was going to fall
Allison my pretty girl that hasn’t gone away
The girl that’s been here
The girl that hasn’t walked away
