She Walks The Whispered Wind
By: Noah Eaton
1/28/09
.
.
.
Far beyond the rainbow skies,
where the gypsy sparrows swarm,
shadows of a silent moon,
evoke peach blossomed memories...
.
.
.
...in this premise of dawn,
I can hear the spirits weep,
and I know there will come soft rains,
in her vigils that we'll keep...
.
.
.
Oh, sing your tender mercy,
in this bond of grief...

...know that waiting arms,
are within a sunbeam's reach...

...I can hear her speak the rain's wisdom,
I heard it halfway up the mountain,
now I see her walk the whispered wind...
.
.
.
.
.
She sings her gossamer-drenched song,
astride her horse of paint,
in whispering winds,
where gypsy swallows have flown...
.
.
.
oh, go oh oh, oh oh,
as far as you dare to go,
walk soft thundered knowing,
we're holding on to letting go...
.
.
.
Oh, sing your tender mercy,
in this bond of grief...

...know that waiting arms,
are within a sunbeam's reach...

...I can hear her speak the rain's wisdom,
I heard it halfway up the mountain,
now I see her walk the whispered wind...
.
.
.
.
.
Each and every October moon,
I can hear her chant yesterday's fragrance,
as she keeps walking the whispered wind...
.
.
.
.
.

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other"

Most suitably read by candlelight with a glass of scotch at your side and the strings of the ancients lilting softly in the air....

Oh, Noah, this is you at your best. This flowed from your heart right into the hearts of your readers.

Lyrical, melodious, 'beautimous' as Marge would say, soul-touching, enchanting ~ and full of love.

I have missed you.

Love & Margie Moon Light,
Linda

Noah...

I'm without words. The entire presentation is spectacular. I would love to hear you sing this.

Noah, that was simply beautiful and yes, we will keep her close won't we?

I am getting older too sweetie, and I could not see that font for the love of me, had to figure out how to enlarge it.

Lovely tribute Noah, but I'm not surprised, you're a great poet and Marge will never be forgotten, we can see her in so many things that surround us.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Sharon, when they print in light colors I just scroll over it and it becomes white on darker blue so I can read it more easily. Works for me.

I love the photos of your beautiful Canada but am not in the mood to be playing and making snow angels now. It has been
Unseasonably cold here in Florida so if anyone is thinking of a warm place to be, it had better be a lot further south. LOL.We had a light frost but it was enough to wilt all my plants. They are lying on the ground in embarrassment. Can't prune until the danger is over and then we will be fighting the lack of rain. WE need that badly now also.
