In response to Marge’s poem, A Stairway to Heaven's Door, posted in the Spiritual Forum Step by step she built a stairway Word by word she wrote her love Every poem was one step higher To a lofty realm above Every hug was seen by heaven Each kind word was etched in stone As she wrote, an angel noted All the kindness she has shown Climb your stairway, dearest poet You are worthy to ascend I just wish that I were worthy To be called your poet friend You have taught my heart of friendship Unconditional and true Climb your stairway to the sky For He is waiting there for you Liz |

Lizzie what a tribute! She was all that and a bag of chips that's for sure! I remember mostly her quick wit, and sense of humor. When I read her obituary, I was not surprised she owned a roller rink once, that is just "so Marge." You dear lady, are worth to be a fried of anyone, and they would be SO blessed. Love ya. In the gardens of the Great Spirit, a new angel tends the flowers... while on earth the poets mourn for this angel that was ours. Ida |
