'Neath cover of ink-black night she takes flight. In the wink of an eye an owl will spy a nocturnal delight. Rustling leaves reveal scurrying shrews, diverse treats for those that fly through the midnight fogs, shrouding mists and morning dews. Most of nature lives in harmony, in ebb and flow, give and take, according to some universal survival principles the laws of Eternity set in motion long ago. Nature knows there is no other way. |

So true and so beautiful. To not recognize that is to miss out on the romance of life itself. Excellent! Eric |

Kacy, What nature knows is not always what humans know, and I'm glad of that. Love Bobby |

This is so comforting, microcosmically and macrocosmically and so enriching - and addictive, in the nicest sense of the word. Owl |

Midnitesun - Nature does indeed have a built in survival mechanism for all of us. The owl understands, the bear understands and the insect understands. The only chaos that attempts to undermine it all is in the ignorance of Man. Thanks for the reminder Midnitesun. Namyh |
