. Each year Is a brief affair She stands At the door For one last time Her long wool coat Now buttoned up Against The cold outside There are Occasions Such as these When only the eyes Can speak for hearts The final glance a gaze Adieu my love As you disappear Forget-me-nots In your hair . |

When only the eyes Can speak for hearts The final glance a gaze It's been almost *why number the months when it seems like forever* since my last such gaze-that-says-everything. *sigh* I hope your wait isn't nearly as long! I love this soft, romantic write! |

Excellent 'penning'! I am especially fond of the ending: "There are Occasions Such as these When only the eyes Can speak for hearts The final glance a gaze Adieu my love As you disappear Forget-me-nots In your hair" Grand impressionistic Romanticism! MUCH applause!! |
