twitch I do not fit in these clothes that once belonged to me *twitch* I'm thinking different thoughts stuff they told me I should not twitch a g'damnned reckoning rough I hit the ground and throb zzzzzzzztwitch! I am the second string quarterback who once was robbed... Last and fair the last despair spirals that pass Hail M'ray twitch I am alone at last with zilch and nothing left to say but monotones and droolings and stories told with some coke-zing; I am the fool that I laughed at with great hair and the queendom that I swallowed with an olive, speared watching me alone. |

you are true beauty within the path going and has been felt the words sting of fault cried tears to pillar salt turned to see path taken a promise made not forsaken yet, there lies dreams unspoken you now bend remain unbroken and soon comes when you will soar NO ONE takes that you are so much more |

Karen, your poem (as always) is so rich with meaning, art, sensitivity, innuendos and intellect, and Helen, what an outstanding, understanding (in both senses of the word), beautiful, appreciative, (and in my humble opinion, accurate) interpretation/tribute of/to both Karen's poem and Karen! And Karen, you are NEVER alone. For a start, you have a great following and huge bunch of friends here in Pip! Wowweee! Owl |

Hey! Pull back from lies we tell ourselves when we despise the mirror. Reflections' tricky light we see more clearly with our eyes shut tight. |

Sometimes we just need to buy new clothes. I prefer retro, slightly loved clothes. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

Great write, Karen, and, if the truth be know, we all know about the "twitch"... and just when we think we've got rid of it, back it comes. What a life! Helen |

A double treat! *S* Two dynamite writes! There's no way I can come close to Helen's eloquence... but K, dear one... I think that mirror needs a permanent dip in the mighty Mississipp' if'n it can't show you your beauty... or the cadre' of friends standing by. |
