The thirst shall never come again to this Life quenched with shattered blood in tune With thoughts so tense with passive desire Temptations to freeze in flaming fire Which shall suffice? Fire or Ice? Now pondered by many beings in recession Swish, swish, the whirling wind in meter So free and wild like a cold-hearted cheater Mother of freedom must be rigid and decaying Since today only money can let one thrive Love spread thin like cool evaporating water Peace is real, yet on Earth it is slaughtered Hell raging fiercely even in quiet silence Sweat on backs and brow dripping now Taste the salty sickness spilling from the stress Try to enjoy the rest without all the transgress [This message has been edited by GothicCherry (01-24-2009 09:05 PM).] |
