Winter Forest Dream Wind-shadow snowflakes spiral dance the shafts of icy winter moonlight, through bare-bone trees on a nameless hill, in this forgotten forest dream; here … you become … the limitless universe. --- b. e. adams (1/23/2009) |

Beautiful imagery that leads one beyond the limits of man made boundaries. |

When I envisioned your snowflakes I envisioned a microcosm of galaxies spinning around each other in a graceful dance. Your reference to the universe was apt. A lovely poem. |

Bruce, I was nervous to open this, after reading your suppppppperb Cold Mountain Forest. I still think that Cold Mountain Forest is your best, but I wasn't at all disappointed with this one. I love the new wave in your poetry, lately. Aside from the fact that your excellence is becoming greater excellence, there is a new breath of optimism that is very beautiful and reassuring . . . brrrrrrr...the vividness of imagery in this phrase is downright chilling: "Wind-shadow snowflakes spiral dance the shafts of icy winter moonlight" ...love the movement in the words alone....exceptional... |

Wind-shadow snowflakes spiral dance the shafts of icy winter moonlight,/...............""""" I wanted to highlight the whole poem, but I chose to paste this part of your poem here. It just speaks to me! I love it so much, so descriptive and full of Mother Nature... ARCTIC WIND |
