My Thoughts Will Be With You

Upon the midnight hour
When fireworks light the sky
As we join in celebrations
To the old year we say goodbye

Giving toast to the future
The new year will soon unfold
Lets take the time to reflect
As we say our farewell to the old

The count down will begin
On the last night of December
My thoughts will be with you
As dear friends I shall remember

I want to thank each of you
As this year comes to the end
Blessings to you all for 2009
Heart to heart and friend to friend

I wish for you a 2009 that will bring to you a love and happiness equal to your heart and soul. I always enjoy reading you as you tend to write heart on sleeve no matter what the subject and for me, that is my favorite flavor of poetry. My only complaint is that in your second verse ... last line ... you say
