Dusky midnight colors strain through cheap satin curtains. Their moonlight rays, diluted but still beautiful, illuminate a naked figure on a twin mattress, providing light yet witholding comfort. The sojorn face rests blanketed by a muted glow like a thousand purple fireflies placid expression softly overcast by the thoughtfully muted embers of their otherwise fiery cores These serene features lay untroubled by the solidarity of day; this night, the sleeper rests. ..."providing light yet witholding comfort"... What a powerful verse! Quite a write, and this really stood out on it's own. |
