It was our first date on halloween,
to see ghosts, goblins, and scary things.
You held my hand and I squeezed you tight,
hoping you'd keep me safe that night.

We talked and laughed the whole night through,
and I just couldn't take my eyes off you.
I knew right away that it was meant to be,
just me and you... and you and me.

We have something special that is rare and true,
and you made it all possible by just being you.
As we walk through life's journey hand in hand,
right by your side is where I will stand.

From the very begining you had my whole heart,
there is no finish line only the start.
I love you's are said day and night,
and heart to heart it shows us light.

Your in my dreams and thoughts each day,
and in your arms is where I'll stay.
Show me forever with love strong and true,
Yes Den, forever, is how long I'll love you.
