The battle of words
through quiet thoughts,
a victim of tender memories.

Behind the clouds
lies the rainbow's end,
on the shores of a life to appease.

Promises are gone
with the losing of self,
and the need to interpret each day

As one ventures outside
from the inside of thoughts,
a journey in passive display.

A very interesting write, lady M, one I shall re-read again after my morning garden session.
It isn't raining this morning (yet) and I have three or four things to plant.
Have a great day!

It's raining down this way and I have "field day" with 5 year olds in about an hour...
Thank you, enjoy your planting time.

Hope the little ones like rain play! Field day with 5 year olds. WHAT FUN! I remember doing that routine once a month (as a parent volunteer) when I had a part time job teaching/supervising all grades in a computer lab at an elementary school in California.

Growing up, I always played in the rain, got soaking wet making mud pies. My mother used to lock me outside, made me change clothes before coming back in the house. LOL.
I still play in the dirt even on wet days, but only when it's lightly sprinkling, not in serious downpours. Yes, there is always mud under these fingernails, even when I wear gloves it seems to find my nails. Maybe it's those well worn holes in the fingertips of my gloves? I go through a dozen pair of gloves every Spring to Fall.

Wonderful thought!

I would love to see you while you inspire the five year old kids. Would happily send you my almost five year old grandson to participate in the day's activity. Let us know how they enjoyed the rain!

Love,
Margherita

Sounds like you are contemplating the day? I find myself getting caught up in deep thoughts quite often.
