Darkness surrounds me as I lie in this place Inside my mind is the outline of your face I feel your hand interlocked in mine I feel you, my imagination inclines Although such a distance keeps us apart I still feel you here, I feel you in my heart I can’t stand your warmth missing around my chest The warmth you give me when you lay your head to rest For the time being, your loves warmth will do But nothing can equal the warmth of holding you I can only picture you beside me within my mind’s cries A picture’s worth a thousand words, but million’s in your eyes I dream dreams of a life with you lasting forever Sleeping beside you I’ll make sure were together Night after night, dad after day Something’s finally going my way I can only hope that he won’t come snatch you My grasp is so tight love, my arms will entrap you There you’ll be safe for eternity’s span I’m pretty sure that all of this is part of His plan Times change, people and places grow old But through all of it my heart you’ll still hold I promise, love, this is completely true Second after second, I’ll always love you Sometimes in life things take you by surprise I knew this was true when I saw myself in your eyes I can’t wait to look into those gems once more When I stare into them I see your soul’s inner core What composes your actions and writes your sweet words Lies within those two. |

ARH The question you seem to ask, though subtly and silently, is, "Can love still burn brightly though both are far apart?" To reassure you, I know of a love that first sparked across a 4,500 miles gap - and that distance has now diminished so that both are happily together. Give it time, it does happen. |
